Step by step
• Form groups of 3-4 students and have each member assign themselves a number (1-4). • Have students work individually on a large or several small assignments. • Then have students compare answers within their groups to come up with the best answers. • Now call out one number (1-4). All students with that number are involved in the discussion: ‘What did your group come up with as an answer? And what did the other groups come up with?’ etc.
